Let’s face it, no one goes to Red Lobster for the seafood. It’s the awesome Cheddar Bay Biscuits that get you there and fill you up before you even tear into your appetizer. Why not skip having to go out and make your own copycat Red Lobster biscuits at home? The Cheddar Bay Biscuits are made with 2 cups of Bisquick baking mix, 3/4 cups of buttermilk, 1/2 cup of grated cheddar cheese, and 3/4 cups of water. The ingredients are mixed then dropped onto a baking sheet and baked at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes. While the biscuits cook, melt 1/4 cup of butter and mix in 1/4 tsp of garlic powder and 1 tablespoon of dried parsley. Remove the biscuits and brush them with the butter mix, then return them to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.

Forget little individually wrapped pieces of gum! I want my gum torn off a 6 foot roll! Bubble Tape was a popular brand of bubble gum in the 1990′s. The 6 foot roll of gum came packaged in a round plastic case, similar to a kid’s version of measuring tape. Kids could decide how long of a piece they wanted, or go for the title of king of the playground and try to chew the entire container’s worth of gum.

Love T.G.I. Fiday’s Potato Skins? Follow this copycat recipe to make your own version of these loaded appetizers. 4 Rustic potatoes are cut in half and baked. The middle of the potato is scooped out, brushed with butter ans seasonings, and the potatoes are returned to the oven. While the skins cook, the toppings are prepared. Once the skins are crisp, they are topped with 3/4 cup of shredded cheddar, 5 strips of cooked bacon, and 1 diced green onion. The potato skins are returned to the oven for 1 minute to allow the cheese to melt. After the quick trip to the oven, the potato skins are topped with sour cream. Enjoy!
